Yes, the process is as follows:
Beatport, Traxsource & Juno will transfer the label and the back catalogue between distributors, so there would be no downtime (your old distributor will need to approve the switch with these stores).
Once the label is transferred to our supplier account at Beatport we can request a metadata export and assist with setting this up for you in Ampsuite. If all your catalogue is live at Beatport then we can also import your audio and cover art.
You may need to update any mandatory missing data files before we are able to deliver the back catalogue out to the other stores, such as Spotify and Apple, who require a redelivery, but we are here to help you with the transition.
Ideally your previous distributor would not issue takedowns until the redelivery process is complete through Ampsuite, in which case there will be no downtime. If your distributor does issue takedowns on your catalogue before you have redelivered through Ampsuite then there may be a period of downtime.
